Live Music --Bobby France

Bobby France is a lifelong musician and singer/songwriter who has been entertaining in Central Florida for almost 30 years.

Bobby comes from a very musical family. His mother and sister play piano and everyone sings. That makes for a very strong connection to music. When the chance came to make it a full time career, he had to do it. Bobby joined the band Cracked Actor that eventually became the band Arc Angel. Writing songs and trying to land the elusive record deal, Arc Angel opened for national acts like Cinderella, Zebra, The Guess Who, Winger and many more. The band got national airplay with a cover of Smokey Robinson’s Tracks of My Tears. The band also played showcases for record executives in NYC. After many attempts, the band grew tired and broke up.

Bobby got an offer to come to Florida and join the band Little Tramp. The band toured the southeast’s A circuit of clubs, wrote and recorded. Bobby finally decided to settle down and left Little Tramp. Landing in Central Florida, Bobby formed the duo 2 AM with Mark Carter, playing venues from downtown Orlando to Daytona to Tampa to corporate events. 2 AM grew into a full band and still plays out despite the passing of Mark.

Bobby established himself as a solo artist with his album Brand New Day. He also has an impressive list of covers from ‘60’s to present, so he is able to tailor his show for every audience. Approaching 40 years of entertaining audiences, playing solo, duos, trios or with the full band, Bobby still loves the music.
